The company required a new strategy that addresses, among other things, changes in the operating environment over a 5- and 10-year horizon. Central to the strategy were choices about what the company does and does not do. The company is involved in several associated companies, and functions are both outsourced and performed in-house. Furthermore, transmission pricing (or distribution pricing), security of supply investments, and operational efficiency were subjects for consideration.<\/p>\n<p>OBJECTIVE<br \/>\nThe company&#8217;s goal is to be a vital electricity distribution company and to keep distribution prices at a reasonable level compared to the industry average. Measured by the distribution network, the company is the 3rd largest in Finland per connected site. The company needed a strategy on how this vitality could be secured in the coming years and what decisions this requires.<\/p>\n<p>HOW DID KONSULTTIVERKKO HELP?<br \/>\nKonsulttiverkko utilized a proven approach, tailored for a medium-sized organization, to execute the company-level strategy process. The work involved extensive participation from various stakeholders. The project was finalized together with the company&#8217;s Board of Directors. As a result, the company has defined its key strategic guidelines for the 5- and 10-year horizon.<\/p>\n<p>RESULTS<br \/>\nThe company has a clarified vision, mission, values, and roadmap. Lis\u00e4ksi siirtohinnoittelu, huoltovarmuusinvestoinnit ja toiminnan tehokkuus olivat pohdinnan aiheena.<\/p><h5>TAVOITETILA<\/h5><p>Yhti\u00f6n tavoite on olla elinvoimainen s\u00e4hk\u00f6nsiirtoyhti\u00f6 sek\u00e4 pit\u00e4\u00e4 siirtohinnat toimialaan n\u00e4hden kohtuullisella tasolla. Siirtoverkolla mitattuna yhti\u00f6 on Suomen 3. suurin k\u00e4ytt\u00f6paikkaa kohden. Yhti\u00f6 tarvitsi strategian miten elinvoimaisuus voidaan turvata tulevina vuosina ja mit\u00e4 p\u00e4\u00e4t\u00f6ksi\u00e4 t\u00e4m\u00e4 vaatii.<\/p><h5>KUINKA KONSULTTIVERKKO AUTTOI?<\/h5><p>Konsulttiverkko hy\u00f6dynsi todennettua keskikokoiselle organisaatiolle sovitettua l\u00e4hestymistapaa yhti\u00f6tason strategiaprosessin l\u00e4pivientiin.
