Konsulttiverkko partnering with a government body – Building an internal audit model

14.9.2026News release

Trust in our expertise within central government is growing even stronger – we recently took on our second consecutive assignment for a government body.

This time, it involves a large-scale transformation: How to ensure unified operational practices in a central government organization where multiple workplace cultures, a broad mandate, and thousands of employees intersect?

We are solving this challenge by developing a phased internal audit model for our client:

  • Foundational work and insights: Mapping out the current state, reviewing documentation, and conducting key stakeholder interviews.
  • Fostering shared commitment: Building a aligned vision on audit goals and criteria through interactive workshops and surveys.
  • Concrete deliverables: Developing standardized criteria, an audit handbook, a roadmap for implementation, and conducting a practical pilot.

Instead of focusing solely on documentation, the emphasis is on strengthening the organization's internal capabilities. By co-creating the model with staff and testing it in practice, we equip the organization with the skills to continue the work independently.

Successful development work transforms complex systems into manageable and practical daily operations.
