Background
The city needed to react to major changes in its operating environment. Key drivers were, in particular, the requirements set by in-house procurement legislation for service provision, as well as the need to incorporate artificial intelligence into the city's processes and knowledge management in a controlled manner.
What we did
Konsulttiverkko acted as the city’s partner on this transformation journey. We utilized an agile and collaborative model where leadership and different municipal sectors together defined how AI and new regulations would be addressed as part of modern IT management and daily work.
Results
A clear and strategic IT management model was created that directly addresses legislative and technological challenges. The renewal ensured that Kuopio now has the capability to lead digitalization cost-effectively and harness new technologies to boost productivity.
